About the event

Addressing Conflict between Employees and Members, including Code of Conduct Issues £45pp (2 hours)

Chris Moses LLM Chartered FCIPD who provides HR Advice for our members will be delivering this useful and informative online session, mainly aimed at Councillors but Clerks may find it useful too.

Constructive debate and competition for resources within Councils is inevitable.  Unfortunately this can spill over and create conflict. When this involves the Council’s Employees it can become a serious HR problem, and risk costing the Council a lot of money, as well as time and stress.  This event provides guidance for Councils on how to address complaints of bullying, harassment and intimidation by Employees within the current legal framework, includes:

  1. The significance of the Localism Act 2011 and the Ledbury ruling.
